My engagement day was seriously the BEST. DAY. EVER. My husband Wes (who is also my second shooter for weddings) planned a 9-hour scavenger hunt filled with rock climbing, old friends, sentimental notes, massages, you get the picture… He went big because that’s who he is and I’d never felt so loved.
I LOVE engaged couples and supporting y’all through this wild, crazy, exciting and sometimes overwhelming and stressful season.

Good Question!
I’ve been photographing couples for more than 15 years and what I love most is creating an environment where you feel totally YOU. Where the awkwardness of being in front of a camera fades away because you feel like you’re just with a friend and the person you love the most in the entire world.
I’m an avid adventurer myself. Backpacking, camping, hiking, climbing, sizzling bacon over a wood fire, sleeping under the stars, these are a few of my favorite things! I am constantly exploring new vistas to give you the best backdrops possible. These days, I get to bring my son (born May 2024) along on these adventures, too. Gotta start them young! His first backpacking trip was at 3 months! I’m pretty proud of that :)

1 - Dating
We’ll grab coffee or hop on a call. Just like a first date, we’re getting to know each other. I want to hear about what drew you to each other and the dynamic that you have as a couple. I want to know what makes you YOU and the places and activities that you love. From there, We’ll explore ideas for locations and the type of engagement experience you’d like to create. This is the dreaming stage, feeling things out and if it feels right - lets take it to the next level and set a date!
2. Facebook Official
Ok so we’re vibing and excited about hanging out more. Now we’ll start making a plan. You’ll select your ideal engagement experience and we will find a location, date and time to make this dream into a reality. Throughout this stage, I’m here to help in any way that I can from wardrobe planning, location scouting, logistical support, to tips in posing - I’m here to make your time as stress-free and fun as possible!
3. ENGAGEMENT!
Ok you’re already engaged - but now we get to take photos that prove it! This is your moment to fully and completely be lost in each other, enjoying this unique season together without a thought of all the wedding planning stress that might come later. You get to simply BE together, doing the things that you enjoy with the person you love the most. We’ll make memories you’ll never forget, know why? Because you’ll have photos to remember every step of the way!

My philosophy of photography is simple-I want to capture the beauty that is, because life is beautiful, and so are you!
Do you dig highly curated? Hyper edited? Magazine cover air-brushed? Nope, me neither. Let’s capture the authentic, the vibrant and the real instead!
There’s a gazillion photographers out there but there is only one of me and I believe strongly in giving every couple a customized, incredible experience so that you can have photos that authentically tell your unique love story.

You have full rights to download/print/share your photos as you wish, (I’ve never been a fan of charging for prints and limiting couples in the memories they get to keep)
I’ve been to a plethora of weddings, sessions and mountain trails & I bring all my expertise to help you plan your engagement session and even provide support in the wedding planning season if you’d like it. I’m an open book, ready to help you and take as much stress off you as possible.
I’ll carry the backpack
I’ll be your tour guide - just lmk where you want to explore, I’ll do the research and provide options for you to design the perfect experience.
You receive your photos quickly, not only will you get sneak peeks within 24 hours of your session so that you can instantly showcase this incredible moment of your life, but you’ll have your gallery in less than 4 weeks (often it’s within 1 week).

Let’s craft an experience you won’t forget. Sunrise in the Dolomites or your favorite 14er- heck yeah!! Hike to a secret mountain lake in the Alps or Alaska for a picnic at sunset… I’m HERE for it! Or if hiking isn’t your thing, maybe a cruise in a fishing boat off the coast of Greece (chef’s kiss that’d be glorious), scuba with sharks (I’ve done that!) dance in a castle (on my bucket list)… dream big here, folks!

A slightly tamed version from the All-In Adventure, this package gives you a customized experience within the state of Colorado & Utah. Want photos on Angel’s Landing or a sunrise experience at one of Colorado’s most beautiful lakes (Ice Lakes has to be my fav so far), or maybe sunset and campfire vibes? Again, dream big and I’m there!

This package is perfect for those who still want a fun and laid back experience but don’t want to travel as far or be out as long. Or if you’d like an urban and outdoor experience we can mix it up and diversify your portfolio. One hour can be at your favorite coffee shop, ice cream spot or just meaningful area in your neighborhood or favorite mountain town, while the second hour is somewhere in nature or back at your airbnb. Again, you can choose your own adventure here!
