Telluride Winter Wedding

Telluride Colorado is the dream-come-true location for a winter wonderland mountain wedding. With its rugged peaks, free gondola and stunning landscapes, any wedding here feels like you’re in a fairy tale. Like any good story, what beckons the heart is not the setting, but the passionate story of love.

The Bodin Wedding: Telluride Colorado

The ladies shared the morning in their own lovely cabin at the Telluride Mountain Lodge. The entire bridal party was able to stay on site which made the morning care free and the transition to wedding ceremony (hosted on the pool deck at the Lodge) and reception seamless.

Bridal First Looks

First looks provide such a tender, joyous, and emotional moment between the bride and her special people. Some brides choose just to document that moment with their groom but I love how Jenna chose to take a moment with her dad and bridesmaids too.

The Big Reveal: First Look with the Groom

Sliding up the glorious mountains in the Telluride gondola, made for a delightful moment as the bride took a breath, enjoyed the views and anticipated seeing her man for the first time.

On our way back down the gondola, I asked what went through Ryan’s mind when he first saw Jenna, which brought about more tears and beaming smiles.

Wedding Time!

The Telluride Mountain Lodge features a glorious mountain backdrop on its pool deck, the gondola’s gliding by every few seconds added a fun touch to the photos with occasional celebratory greetings from above.

Family Portraits

Group shot! This is one of my new favorite things to capture at weddings! A photo like this, with all your people together is so meaningful.

Wedding Party Portraits

While guests began social hour, the bride and groom stepped out onto the slopes of Telluride for a few more winter wedding portraits at dusk. Wedding photography in Telluride is quite the treat, especially when a couple is this down for an adventure.

Get the Wedding Party Started!

They say your wedding is over in a flash. It feels like a blur but your wedding photography should bring you back to each moment where you can feel those feelings again, all the joy, the love, the laughter. The day comes and goes but these memories last a lifetime.

Congratulations Ryan & Jenna!

Special shoutout to the amazing vendors who made this wedding even more amazing. Each one was incredibly kind, professional, and excellent at everything they did.
